Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is an American performer and actress. She was born in Huntington Woods and raised there. She's the daughter Lorelei Frygier as well as Tom Bell. She was born in Huntington Woods, Michigan and was raised by the family of a Polish mother and father that has a mix of German, English Irish, Scottish as well as Irish. Kristen discovered her talents in entertainment from a young age. In 1992 she won her first acting role in her audition in Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell's mother signed her up with an agency just before her 13th birthday. She then appeared in television advertisements as well as newspaper advertisements. Also, Bell began taking classes in acting privately. Bell played an uncredited part on Polish Wedding (1998), a film released in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School and was a member of the music club and drama clubs. Bell was cast as Dorothy in the high-school production that was The Wizard of Oz. Bell went on to study music theatre in the world-renowned Tisch School of the Arts located in New York City after graduating. Bell dropped out of school in 2001 and began playing the role of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. In 2001, she made her debut on the credit screen with the role of Becky Pootie Tang. However, her scene was cut out of the movie and she only appears in the credits. Bell made an appearance alongside Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson as well as in the Broadway show The Crucible in 2002.
